Since 2008 – 2009, our company has seen significant growth in the number of Medicare plans we market and in our annual sales volume. We have been extremely blessed and successful, and have now extended our original client base in Arizona and California to a number of new state markets, including Colorado, Illinois, Nevada, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Texas and others.
Our Better Business Bureau rating of A+ shows that we take pride in honoring the circumstances and needs of our customers. Our motto is "We do what's right" for our clients, most of whom are Senior citizens. We take especial care in considering the health and insurance needs of our clients, regardless of the sales potential.
Medicare Advantage plans, Medicare Supplements, Prescription Drug Plans and Life Insurance policies are our mainstay in Arizona, while we have focused on Medicare Supplements in other states.
Medicare (Part A & Part B)
Medicare is the federal health insurance program for people who are 65 or older, certain younger people with disabilities, and people with End-Stage Renal Disease (permanent kidney failure requiring dialysis or a transplant, sometimes called ESRD). This program has two Parts: Part A covers inpatient hospital stays, care in a skilled nursing facility, hospice care, and some home health care. Part B covers certain doctors' services, outpatient care, medical supplies, and preventive services.
Medicare Advantage (Medicare Part C)
This is a type of Medicare health plan offered by a private company that contracts with Medicare to provide individuals with all of the Part A and Part B benefits. Medicare Advantage Plans include Health Maintenance Organizations (HMO), Special Needs Plans (SNP), and several other specialized types of plans. If enrolled in a Medicare Advantage Plan, most Medicare services are covered through the plan and aren’t paid for under Original Medicare. Most Medicare Advantage Plans offer prescription drug coverage.
Medicare Supplement (Medigap)
This type of policy, sold by private companies, can help pay some of the health care costs that Original Medicare doesn't cover, like copayments, coinsurance, and deductibles. Some Medigap policies also offer coverage for services that Original Medicare doesn't cover, like medical care when a person travels outside the U.S. Special considerations regarding Supplements:
- A person must first have Medicare Part A and Part B.
- Any standardized Medigap policy is guaranteed renewable.
- A Medicare Prescription Drug Plan (Part D) must be purchased separately.
- Other considerations can be found on the government website
